Stuck at Home

On January 30, 2020, WHO declared the COVID-19 outbreak a global health emergency. This led to a global lockdown. At the beginning of the pandemic, I felt clueless and trapped, knowing that I would be spending weeks, and months, stuck at home with my family. This pandemic really had a huge impact on my life, including my hobbies.

In the last two years, all I have done is eat, attend online classes, do modules, play video games, and sleep. Repeating this everyday routine helped me fight boredom, but after doing this for a week, I got bored. When my lola bought me an acoustic guitar, I started learning chord progression and guitar theory, which helped me discover a new hobby during this pandemic. With the internet, I was able to continue studying through online classes and modules. Although I was able to communicate with my friends through the internet, it wasn't enough for me. I still felt that in-person chatting with friends was the best.

This pandemic really had a huge impact on our lives, but it also helped us to discover new talents. This pandemic was just an addition to my life, and a challenge for us all.

Reflecting on Progress: 2nd Quarter

The second quarter of the academic year has just come to an end, and it is time for me to take a step back and reflect on my personal and academic progress. As I reflect, I am reminded of the challenges I faced, the opportunities I seized, and the lessons I learned during this period.             One of the biggest challenges I faced was time management. With multiple assignments, tests, and extracurricular activities, it was hard to find the time to balance everything. However, I learned the importance of prioritizing my tasks and setting achievable goals for each day. This helped me to stay on track and complete my tasks efficiently.           Finally, one of the lessons I learned was the value of self-care. During this quarter, I found myself feeling overwhelmed and stressed. However, I realized that taking time for myself and engaging in self-care activities like exercise...
