Republic Act No. 10661, or National Children's Month Act, is celebrated each November to commemorate the passage of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child on November 20, 1989. The Department of Social Welfare and Development has been identified as the primary agency running the celebration. This month-long celebration aims to raise awareness among Filipinos and support the promotion and protection of children's rights.
